TQuist has a new site theme. I’m glad it is done and fresh. My first order of business was to create a template for Blog posts. I decided to use ChatGPT to help me navigate the process.
My harsh opinion at the end of the process is that it looks better than what I could have accomplished alone, which in a sense is what I was looking for. The process took me longer than I expected; in part because at times I attempted to learn what I was doing while I was doing it. For example, what precisely is the impact of changing the Padding and Line Height and so on. I don’t speak that language, and I don’t necessarily want to. I know now how long it took me to achieve a level of result. In the future I’d probably hire someone to execute on a basic mockup that I can put together with ChatGPT.
I’ve decided to use a featured image in my posts. Since Google keeps pestering me to add photos to my website because websites with photos do better, I’ve decided to use pictures of my dogs at featured images unless I have an actual good picture to use. My dogs are awesome.
