Wow, this is just brutal and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

I recently checked out Character.ai. I apparently had an account already, though it may made one for me on the fly. I engaged a chatbot and argued over whether a tiger would best a lion in combat. The veracity of its arguments were impressive.
My Carnac predicition is more sad stories like this are to come.
